How often does the program begin?
The program started in 2020, and there are no fixed enrollment sessions. You can join whenever it suits you.
How many people can join the program?
On average, there are 30-50 people participating, with a current maximum capacity of 100. Often, 2-3 colleagues join together.
Why is your service free?
Our service operates at no cost to you and your employer. In order to work legally in Thailand, your local host will be your employer of record. That means, you keep your current job but pay taxes in Thailand. The difference in tax rates to your home country allows us to cover the costs of our service entirely.
Is this program exclusive to programmers?
Our service is not exclusive to programmers. It’s designed for anyone engaged in a tech-related profession that can be performed remotely. Eligibility requires you to be at least 22 years old, possess relevant work experience, and hold a degree in a related field.
How do you secure my employer's approval?
We proactively reach out to your employer to introduce the program and secure their approval. In most cases, we can establish a framework agreement with the employer.
What can I expect in monthly expenses while in Thailand?
A single person's estimated monthly costs are around 500€ without rent. The typical accommodation for digital nomads is a little house of 50 sqm with 1 floor, 2 bedrooms and a beautiful garden. To rent such a house costs around 500€ per month. If you enjoy hotels and guest houses, you can live in a 3-star hotel for around 550€ per month. Almost nobody cooks at home, street food is part of the culture. You will find delicious Thai dishes for 1€ to 3€.
Can I participate for less than 6 months?
Yes, it's possible. If you plan to stay for less than 6 months, we can provide you with an individual offer. Stays of 6 months or longer come with a guarantee of no service costs for both employees and employers.
Is the program limited to Thailand only?
This special program is exclusive to Thailand. However, we also offer workation options in Europe and Bali. All our services are free of charge.
